Anger isn’t the enemy. What it’s costing you might be.
Anger is a normal, healthy human emotion — it tells us when a boundary has been crossed or something matters deeply. But when anger erupts faster than you can control it, when the people you love have started walking on eggshells, or when an outburst has put your job, relationship, or freedom at risk, it’s a signal that something underneath needs attention.
Most people who struggle with anger aren’t “angry people.” They’re people carrying hurt, stress, fear, or old wounds that come out sideways — as irritability, explosiveness, or resentment that simmers until it boils over.
How I can help
Anger management therapy isn’t about suppressing what you feel or pretending everything is fine. Together, we will:
Map your triggers. We’ll identify the specific situations, thoughts, and physical cues that precede your anger, so it stops catching you off guard.
Find what’s underneath. Anger is often a bodyguard for more vulnerable emotions — shame, grief, feeling disrespected or unheard. When we address the root, the anger loses its charge.
Build in-the-moment skills. Using cognitive behavioral techniques, you’ll learn concrete strategies to slow down your reaction, regulate your body, and respond rather than explode.
Repair and communicate. We’ll work on expressing frustration in ways that people can actually hear — so your needs get met without collateral damage.
Whether you’re coming on your own initiative, at a partner’s urging, or because circumstances require it, you’ll find a judgment-free space here. You are not your worst moments.
Living life passionately without limitations and regrets from the past intruding into today and tomorrow is the path to happiness and freedom.
